Do the Right Thing!

The ending to Do the Right Thing by Spike Lee infuriated me. It was very stupid how the citizens acted. It is not right of them to obliterate Sal's store for the fact that he was not the person that killed Radio Raheem. As for the death of Radio Raheem, it should not have happened the police should have been able to retrain him instead of just killing him. This also outraged me. I did not enjoy how Radio Raheem and Buggin' Out started the whole thing by attempting to change Sal's personal store. I do not think that they had the right to go in there and disturb the peace and demand something from a store that was privately owned. If anything they should have gone in there and politely asked for him to change it. I do not think that it showed the racism fact as much as Spike Lee wanted it to but with the language it used I felt a relief from the normal movies that censor the normal language of people. Overall it was an interesting movie that brought up some facts to think about.
